PROFET was established to promote the field of educational therapy in the Philippines; to advocate for self-regulation among Filipino Educational Therapists (FET);
to develop and enforce technical, quality, and safety standards for all FET; to lay down expectations of proper and ethical conduct for FET; and to promote the welfare of learners with difficulties and disabilities,
by disseminating accurate and
up-to-date information about educational therapy in the Philippines.
